And I think we could all do with some comfort and escape right now – so here is my personal, subjective list of the romances (for adults) that made me happiest this year. Robin Covington writes steamy contemporary romance full of complex characters and often featuring action-packed side plots. On Goodreads , she tends to review books in waves, and though she doesn’t often leave written reviews, she usually rates books four or five stars, so if she’s rating it, you know she loved it.
Last weeken I attended the Romance Author Mastermind conference in Houston, hosted by Skye Warren. It was a terrific conference, and like all the best ones, it sent me home with a huge list of ideas. One of the things I realized that I’m under-utilizing – or maybe not using well at all!
